CEA Brisbane Warehouse and Distribution Centre

Featuring a modern showroom and office, workshop and parts distribution facility, CEA Brisbane opened its doors in November 2021.

Sustainably designed for the future, this state-of-the-art facility includes a 99kW solar PV system, 2 x 25,000L rainwater harvesting tanks, and electric vehicle charging stations. The building seamlessly integrates the operations of JCB CEA, Dynapac CEA, Atlas CEA, Ditchwitch CEA and Komptech CEA all in one central location to enable better service capacities for customers.

The warehouse has racking capacity for over 1,000 pallets and includes a Vertical Lift Machine and Vertical Carousel Machine for consolidated and automated storage of parts. The workshop fit-out includes a fluid and compressed air delivery system servicing every bay, combined with an electronic management system for streamlined accounting of fluid usage.

Birchmead’s development management division (BPG Projects) acted as lead project manager providing consulting services to CEA, including initial concept design development, preparation of performance specifications, coordination of the tender process, negotiating lease terms, and managing the delivery of the building during the construction phase including tenant fit-out works.
